Project Management

Where an engagement is complex, has several deliverables, is high cost/risk or when it is required, we will use a robust project management framework tailored to the requirements of the project. A project governance structure will be implemented that provides effective control over the project. This structure will consist of specific members of our client and Promentor teams. Progress reports will be provided on an agreed frequency, which will provide accurate and transparent information on the following as a minimum:

  • Overall project status.
  • Project status for each Key Performance Indicator (Scope, Budget, Schedule, Quality and Risk).
  • Key achievements made in the last reporting period.
  • Planned milestones in the upcoming reporting period.
  • Key risk, issues, mitigation and where appropriate, those needing to be escalated.
  • Any other relevant information needing to be brought to the attention of the governance body.
  • Project scope and approach including deliverables, exclusions, governance and tolerances.
  • Project schedule, budget and resource plan.
  • Risk, issues and lessons learned logs.
  • Benefits realisation plan.

To maintain focus on the engagement opposed to drafting documentation, project documentation will be minimised to that required to effectively run the project. As a minimum, the following will be prepared and maintained:

  • Project scope and approach including deliverables, exclusions, governance and tolerances.
  • Project schedule, budget and resource plan.
  • Risk, issues and lessons learned logs.
  • Benefits realisation plan.
