The AAA Triangle

• The AAA Triangle serves as a strategy map for managers.
• The percentage spent on on advertising indicates the importance of advertising to the company.
• The percentage spent on R + D is a proxy of the importance of aggregation.
• The percentage of labour indicates the importance or arbitrage.
• Any scores above the median need to be attended to, scores above the 90 percentile may be perilous to ignore (too much spend).
